What it does
F4i's are famous for a sloppy, saggy rear end. This link raises the tail and reduces the linkage ratio on the CBR600F4i rear shock. The result is a stiffer rear shock with less sponginess. It keeps you planted during sit-down tricks and cuts the bounce-back when you clutch it up.
Higher tail
Lifts the rear for better ground clearance and a more aggressive stance.
Stiffer shock
A changed linkage ratio means less squat and a crisper response to throttle and brake.
Better for stunting
Smoother sit-downs, circles and body adjustments, without the delay of a squishy rear.
Compared with a side-plate kit: plates are like a body lift on a truck, while this kit is like a suspension lift. Plates raise the rear, but the suspension stays soft and bouncy. This kit tightens up the rear.
Raises the rear. Not a lowering link.
Most aftermarket F4i "suspension links" you'll find are lowering links: they drop the seat height and make the rear even softer. The Saggy F4i Fix does the opposite. It lifts the tail and changes the linkage ratio so the stock shock acts stiffer. You get less rear sag, less squat on the throttle, and less bounce-back when you clutch it up or land a wheelie.
It fits every Honda CBR600F4i, including the F4i Sport, from 2001 to 2006. It works with the stock shock, so you don't need a new spring or a shock swap.
